London: A family had a rough start to their holiday when their bags were stolen at Gatwick Airport. They were all set for a long flight when, bam, their luggage went missing.

Inside those bags were some pricey gadgets like Apple devices, laptops, and even scuba gear. They lost a wallet with bank cards, house keys, and some fancy Sony headphones too.

This all went down on December 12 last year, right in the check-in area of the South Terminal. It happened between 11:35 and 11:50 AM, which is just awful timing.

Now, the police are on the case and have shared a CCTV image of a guy they want to talk to. He’s described as being in his 30s, with a beard, and wearing a dark blue jacket and jeans.

After the theft, it seems he hopped on a bus to Crawley and tried using the stolen bank card in Langley Green. Inspector Mark Robinson mentioned how distressing this was for the family, especially with kids in tow.

He’s urging anyone who might recognize the man in the CCTV footage to step forward. If you have any info, you can report it to Sussex Police by quoting the serial number 1097 of 12/12.
