Oliver Glasner expressed satisfaction with Crystal Palace’s strong performance in their recent 2-0 win over West Ham, marking a successful week.

London: Oliver Glasner was all smiles after his Crystal Palace team beat West Ham 2-0. He called their performance “excellent” and was really pleased with how they played.
The game kicked off with Palace taking charge right after halftime. Jean-Philippe Mateta found himself in a one-on-one situation and nailed a shot from the edge of the box, leaving the West Ham keeper, Lukasz Fabianski, with no chance.
Things got even better for Palace when West Ham’s Konstantinos Mavropanos got a second yellow card, giving Palace a man advantage with just ten minutes left.
Then, in the final minutes, substitute Eddie Nketiah was brought down by Fabianski, earning Palace a penalty. Mateta stepped up and scored, sealing the win for the Eagles.
This victory marked Palace’s first back-to-back wins in the Premier League this season. They also advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup last week after beating Stockport.
Glasner was thrilled, saying, “It feels good.” He noted that while the score was the same as their previous match against Leicester, the performance was night and day.
“We controlled the game and didn’t give West Ham a clear chance to score,” he added. It was a solid showing, and they really made their mark.
