Nottingham has been identified as a risky place for drivers. A recent study reveals alarming crash statistics that highlight the need for improved road safety measures.

That’s more than double the national average of 335 crashes. It puts Nottingham in the top ten most dangerous driving areas outside of London. Blackpool leads the list with 976 crashes, followed by Kingston upon Hull and the Isles of Scilly.
Other cities like Southampton and Reading also have higher crash rates than Nottingham. The report highlights the need for better road safety measures, especially with winter approaching.
The CEO of Tollwayr, the company behind the study, emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety on the roads. He mentioned that while accidents can happen anywhere, being cautious is key.
Last year, Nottinghamshire Live found that the A52 was the most dangerous road in the city, with numerous serious incidents. Other roads like the A1 and A46 also showed high numbers of serious and fatal accidents.
So, if you’re driving in Nottingham, stay alert and drive safely.
