Millwall is looking to finalize a permanent transfer for striker Josh Coburn from Middlesbrough, who is currently on loan.

London: Millwall is really hoping to make Josh Coburn’s loan deal from Middlesbrough permanent. The young striker has been on loan with them and has shown some promise.
At just 22, Coburn has already scored a couple of goals in seven games for Millwall. Unfortunately, he’s had a rough time with injuries, which has kept him off the pitch for a while.
He got hurt back in December with a broken metatarsal, and before that, a calf injury had sidelined him too. It’s been tough for him, but when he’s fit, he’s definitely a valuable player for the team.
Millwall’s management is keen to boost their attacking options this transfer window. They’re looking to strengthen not just the striker position but also the wide and number 10 roles, plus central midfield.
His injury happened during a match against Oxford United, and he had to leave the field in a protective boot. The former head coach, Neil Harris, mentioned how much they miss him and how important he is to the squad.
Even though it’s a big loss, the team has managed to cope without him before, and they’ll have to keep pushing forward.
