Millwall faced a tough night as Cardiff equalized late, leaving fans disappointed despite standout performances from Scanlon and Bangura-Williams

London: Millwall had a rough night on Wednesday as they drew 2-2 with Cardiff. They were so close to a win, but a late equalizer dashed their hopes.
Millwall started strong with goals from Calum Scanlon and Casper De Norre. But then, just before halftime, Chris Willock scored for Cardiff after a mix-up in defense. That gave Cardiff a boost going into the second half.
In stoppage time, Yousef Salech found the net, sealing the draw for Cardiff. It was a tough pill to swallow for Millwall, who were just moments away from a much-needed victory.
They haven’t won a league game since December, which is a bit worrying. They’ve only managed three points in their last six matches. With two more tough games coming up, they really needed this win to build some confidence.
On the bright side, it was the first time in a while that Millwall scored two goals at home. So, there’s a glimmer of hope there.
Ra’ees Bangura-Williams was a standout player, surprising everyone by starting the match. He had a fantastic assist, showing he can really make a difference on the field.
Calum Scanlon also impressed, scoring his first goal for the club after a long injury layoff. He’s been through a lot, but it looks like he’s finally finding his feet.
Unfortunately, injuries hit Millwall hard again, with both Ryan Leonard and Danny McNamara going down. It’s a tough break, especially since they play the same position. The team will have to figure out how to cope without them.
Fans are hoping for better luck in the upcoming matches. Let’s see if they can turn things around!
