A jeweller’s manager tragically took his life after a violent robbery. Two men are on trial for their roles in the £1.38 million theft that left the victim traumatized.

The court heard that Oliver White, just 27, was attacked during the heist. Two men, Junior Kunu and Mannix Pedro, are on trial for their roles in this crime. They allegedly planned the robbery for months.
On May 25 last year, over 70 high-value watches were stolen from 247 Kettles. Prosecutor Edward Brown said Oliver was put in a headlock and tied up. He was found dead the next day, which was devastating for his family.
The robbers had contacted Oliver pretending to be buyers. They even visited the shop days before the robbery to scope it out. It’s shocking how calm everything seemed before the attack.
Oliver’s family shared their grief, saying he was a bright light in their lives. They described him as funny and loyal, and his loss has left a huge void.
Kunu and Pedro deny the charges, and none of the stolen watches have been recovered. The trial is ongoing, and it’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
