Lucy Jones impressively set a new personal best in the 3,000m, gearing up for her England debut at an upcoming cross-country event

She clocked an impressive time of 9:11.48, smashing her previous best by over 35 seconds. This was a big deal, especially since she was one of the slower runners going in.
Lucy’s win in the BMC women’s A 3,000m race was a surprise, especially with her strong finish in the last 200m. The club was also thrilled to see Saskia Millard back in action after nearly two years off. She finished fourth with a PB of 9:16.03.
Another Herne Hill athlete, Arlo Ludewick, also had a great day, winning the men’s 3,000m C race with a PB of 8:13.12. Plus, Harry Roberts ran a solid 10km in Newcastle, finishing with a PB of 32:35.
Meanwhile, Hercules Wimbledon sprinters were busy at the London Indoor Games, with Conor Kelly winning the U20 200m title and setting a PB in the 60m. It was a weekend full of impressive performances!
