London: Severe delays are hitting the Elizabeth Line right before rush hour. A trespasser on the track is causing all sorts of trouble for commuters.

Transport for London has reported delays between Abbey Wood, Heathrow, and Reading. This incident happened at Westbourne Park, and it’s a real mess.

Earlier today, commuters faced more disruptions. A key line in south-east London closed for urgent repairs. Many Southeastern trains to London Victoria, Charing Cross, and Blackfriars were cancelled.

Inspectors found a broken rail during a routine check. They fixed it this afternoon, but the Southeastern services were still disrupted until 4 PM.

Other train services also faced delays this morning. London-bound routes through Richmond were affected due to a signalling fault.

And if that wasn’t enough, the country is bracing for more travel issues. Storm Eowyn is bringing strong winds and rain this weekend.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Friday. This means delays to road, rail, air, and ferry transport are likely.
