London: James Buckley, the guy who played Jay in ‘The Inbetweeners’, recently opened up about his feelings on acting. He mentioned that he doesn’t really have much drive for it anymore.

At 37, he’s still doing some projects, but he’s not chasing after new roles like he used to. He was on ‘James Martin’s Saturday Kitchen’ and talked about his upcoming film, ‘Mother’s Pride’, which he shot with Martin Clunes. Sounds fun, right?

But here’s the kicker: he’d rather chill at home with his family than be on set. He said, “I don’t really have much drive, to be honest. My favorite thing to do is to be at home.” Can you blame him? Home is where the heart is!

James is married to Clair Meek, and they have two kids, Harrison and Jude. They even have a YouTube series called ‘At Home With the Buckleys’. He’s made a good chunk of change from Cameo too, but family time is what he values most.

He joked about how he gets bored on holidays because he misses his video games. Honestly, who wouldn’t want a staycation? Just a week at home with nothing to do sounds like a dream!

When it comes to returning to ‘The Inbetweeners’, he admitted that money would be a big motivator. He’s got bills and kids to think about, after all. But he knows if the original cast and writers got together, they could easily make it happen.
