I recently visited a delightful café in Walthamstow where you can make your own jewellery. For just £10, it’s a fun way to spend time with friends while being creative.
Walthamstow: Moroccan Corner Café is a gem. It’s not your usual coffee spot. When you walk in, you see people making jewellery instead of just sipping coffee.
This family-run café has a loyal crowd. On weekends, it’s packed! Even on a Friday evening, I couldn’t find a spot for a walk-in.
For just £10, you get 90 minutes to create as much jewellery as you want. You can make bracelets, necklaces, or even phone charms. It’s a great way to relax and chat with friends.
I made a lovely bracelet for the beach in my favorite colors. There’s a tray of beads and a simple guide to help you start. Plus, there’s a creative station with even more supplies.
The beads come in all colors and shapes, even letters for personalizing. All the materials you need are included, so you can just focus on being creative.
I crafted a cute ombré bracelet and a pink phone charm. Even as a newbie, it felt rewarding and was totally worth the money.
But the café isn’t just about crafting. It’s also a paradise for Turkish food lovers. Their mezze menu is a must-try, with everything made fresh.
The cheese pastries with sweet chili dip were my favorite. The pita bread with hummus was generous and well-seasoned. Everything tasted homemade and comforting.
You can enjoy tasty snacks while you bead. I had a green smoothie, which was healthy and refreshing.
Don’t miss their homemade sweet treats, baked by the owners’ mum. The mini apple biscuits were a highlight – they felt like a warm hug.
The owners aren’t looking to expand. They want to collaborate with other brands for workshops, like team-building events.
