Anita Dobson shares an update on Brian May’s health after his stroke

Surrey: Anita Dobson recently shared that her husband, Sir Brian May, is doing well after his stroke last year. They’re taking things day by day, which is a good approach. Brian, the legendary Queen guitarist, had a bit of a health scare when he lost control of his arm after a minor stroke.
She mentioned that this experience has really made them appreciate life more. “Life is precious,” she said, and it’s true. The couple has had their ups and downs, especially with the flu going around, but they still managed to take a fun trip to Lapland with their kids.
Since moving from London to the countryside, Brian has reportedly never been happier. He’s really embraced nature, feeding all sorts of wildlife like birds, badgers, and even foxes. It sounds like he’s running a little animal pub out there!
Brian himself described the health scare as “a little scary,” but he’s grateful for the fantastic care he received at Frimley Park Hospital. He’s been advised to take it easy, which is probably a good idea after such an event.
They’ve been spending a lot of time at home, just enjoying each other’s company and taking life as it comes. Anita reflected on how quickly life can change and how important it is to live in the moment. It’s a reminder for all of us, really.
On a lighter note, Anita is set to revisit her EastEnders roots soon, participating in a documentary for the show’s 40th anniversary. She played the iconic Angie Watts, and it’ll be fun to see her back in that world.
With so many memories tied to her character, it’s no wonder she’s excited. Plus, she’s also been involved in Doctor Who recently, so it looks like she’s keeping busy!
