If you’re in London, you have to try the Botanical Afternoon Tea. It’s a unique experience with delicious flavors and stunning views that you won’t want to miss.

London: The Lanes of London has introduced a new afternoon tea that’s all about botanical flavors. It’s inspired by the city’s iconic sights and is set in the lovely Marriott Hotel.
As you sip on a glass of fizz, you can choose from a wide range of teas. They have everything from Oolong to floral blends, which is pretty cool.
Now, let’s talk about the savouries. They were some of the best I’ve had at an afternoon tea. We started with a crab and courgette roll topped with caviar on crispy brioche. Yum!
Next up was beetroot cured salmon with dill cream. And I can’t forget the chicken tikka crispy puff pastry, which was my absolute favorite. We wrapped it up with a bocconcini and cherry tomato tart.
After that, we enjoyed freshly made scones with homemade cream and blackcurrant preserve. The blackcurrant was a nice twist instead of the usual strawberry jam.
Then came the sweet treats, and that’s where the fun really started! They had four desserts inspired by London’s famous icons, all beautifully displayed on an ornate cake stand.
My favorite was the lavender and white chocolate mousse handbag. It was light and had a lovely sweet and floral flavor.
We also tried the milk chocolate sacher royal hat, which was crunchy and rich. Plus, there was a teapot-shaped yogurt with basil and blackberry, but it was a bit strong for my taste.
Finally, we finished with a Battenberg cake that looked like a red telephone box. It was such a fun nod to a classic cake!
The Botanical Afternoon Tea is available daily from 12pm to 4pm, priced at £50 per person. It’s definitely worth checking out!
