This weekend, Nottingham will host the Beat the Streets festival. With over 60 acts, it’s a great chance to enjoy music while supporting a good cause.

Since starting in 2018, the festival has sold over 15,000 tickets. It has raised around £320,000 for Framework. This year, they hope to hit the £500,000 mark.
Some returning acts include Evil Scarecrow and rapper Jayahadadream. There’s also Riding The Low, a project by actor Paddy Considine. They’ll be at Download Festival in June.
Festival booker Joseph Patten is excited about the local talent. He appreciates the artists for their support. He hopes Nottingham will show up to help raise more funds for Framework.
The festival will take place at venues like Rock City and Rescue Rooms. All ticket sales and merchandise will go directly to Framework. Last October, 49 people were found sleeping rough in one night, a huge increase from last year.
Framework’s chief executive, Andrew Redfern, emphasizes the growing homelessness crisis. He thanks the performers and DHP for their support. He believes the public will come out in large numbers for this memorable event.
Framework helps those at risk of homelessness in the East Midlands. They provide housing, health, and employment support. Tickets for Beat the Streets are available now for a minimum donation of £15.
