Reinventing the wheel.

I wanted to easily produce a pair of small toriods. (Scissors are the only tool required)

A wheel is just the right kind of shape for a toriod, B&Q have some suitable small ones - six inch diameter with tyre with a round cross section. The bigger wheels, 8", 10" diameter have a tyre with a square cross section. The thickness of these wheels is about 2". I obtain a length of 2" diameter foam insulation (for lagging pipes and cut it in two along its lenght then I wrapped thefoam with now has a half moon section around the tyre for that curved outer edge, and cut to length, secure with lots of parcel taped, and then cover in aluminium tape. giving a nice fairly solid toriod.  Cost about 8 quid ($12 for those with funny money :)

All finished
